I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities within the field of Dentistry throughout my professional career, following my initial experience in the medical sector. Notable achievements include leading the Practice Development and Training Division for a prominent Dental Supply and Equipment Company, Nashville Dental, Inc., for seven years. Additionally, I served as the Professional Relations Network Representative for the entire state of Tennessee for Delta Dental of Tennessee, Delta Dental of Michigan (Renaissance/TennCare/TN Medicaid), and Dentaquest (TennCare/TN Medicaid). Currently, I serve in the role as Director of Operations for Periodontal & Implant Associates of Middle Tennessee. My experience extends to working with Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and Dental Partnering Organizations (DPOs), as well as providing training for billing entities associated with dental practices, hospitals, and non-profit organizations, including esteemed dental schools. I have contributed numerous articles to industry publications such as Dental Economics and have been a keynote speaker at several Continuing Education Seminars. As a noteworthy accomplishment, I testified before the United States Congress in the mid-1990s regarding a perplexing illness that impacted many veterans returning from service during Desert Storm. This advocacy was later depicted in a made-for-TV movie titled “Thanks of a Grateful Nation,” in which Jennifer Jason Leigh portrayed my character. In my personal time, alongside my passion for caring for my three dogs and a cat, I am a certified storm spotter and chaser.
