FAQs

Find the answers to frequently asked conference questions below. 

Arrival and Badges 

Name badges may be picked up in the Level 2 Meeting Space/Germantown (lowest level) of the Renaissance Hotel during registration hours.  

 

Thursday, May 30th | 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Friday, May 31st | 6:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.                            

Saturday, June 1st | 6:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.                                    

 

Please wear your badge at all times while at MCDC 2024. It is required for the conference, and it is your ticket to general registration sessions and events. 

 

Session Access & Seating  

All sessions at MCDC 2024 are ticketed. Your badge is your ticket. For reference, all continuing education sessions will be printed on your badge.  

You will be scanned in at the session of your choosing. To ensure the line flows smoothly, please keep the barcode on your badge facing forward. Once admitted, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

CE Certificates  

To receive CE certificates for the sessions you attend at MCDC 2024, you must be scanned in at the door. Please have your badge with the barcode facing forward.  

At the end of each session, you will be prompted to complete a course evaluation. Completion of course evaluations are required to receive CE Certificate as proof of attendance. 

 

Exhibit Hall  

MCDC will be located in the Level 2/Germantown meeting space in the Renaissance Hotel. Exhibits will be located in the Germantown Foyer and Germantown 3 room.

Thursday, May 30th | 5:00pm – 7:00pm                     

Friday, May 31st | 8:00am – 5:00pm                       

Saturday, June 1st | 8:00am – 12:00pm                           

 

Classroom Comfort  

You may find the temperature in lecture rooms too hot or too cold for your comfort. We suggest that you come prepared with a sweater or a light jacket. 

 

Non-Solicitation Policy  

No attendees may solicit business in the Tennessee Dental Association conference space. Violation of this policy will result in expulsion from the meeting. 

 

Special Accommodations 

If you have a disability or food allergies that require special arrangements at the conference, please contact the TDA in advance of the meeting by calling: (615) 628-0208. 

 

Paperless Handouts 

In a continued effort to minimize paper waste and benefit the environment, course handouts will ONLY be available via our conference app. These materials are not printed for distribution onsite. (Please note that some speakers have chosen not to distribute handouts.) 

 

Privacy Policy  

We use your personal information to fulfill your requests and serve you better. Attendee information submitted to, or collected during MCDC sessions and events, may be shared with TDA partners.

Music City Dental Conference 2024 Code of Conduct

The Tennessee Dental Association (TDA) is committed to providing a safe, professional, and courteous environment for all conference participants and TDA staff. All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, TDA staff members, TDA Board of Trustee members, service providers, and all others are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct. This code of conduct applies to all Music City Dental Conference (MCDC) related events. MCDC related events include social events and receptions, board meetings, committee meetings, membership meetings, and continuing education courses.

TDA has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment by participants or our staff at the MCDC. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, inform us at mcdc@tndental.org or 615-628-0208, or report it directly to a TDA staff member onsite so that appropriate action can be taken.

Unacceptable behavior is defined as:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.

  • Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, exhibitor, TDA staff member, service providers, or other conference guest.

    • Examples of verbal abuse include, but are not limited to, verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, national origin, inappropriate use of nudity and or sexual images in public space or in presentations or during live events, or threatening or stalking any attendee, speaker, exhibitor, TDA staff member, service provider, or other meeting guest.

  • Disruption of program offerings. All participants must comply with the instructions of moderators and TDA staff.

  • No attendee shall solicit or distribute business materials at the Music City Dental Conference onsite at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, except for registered exhibitors operating within their physical booth space. Violation of this policy will result in expulsion from the conference with no tuition or booth refunds issued.

  • Recording of any type (video, audio, live streaming) is strictly prohibited during the Music City Dental Conference’s continuing education sessions. Violation of this policy will result in expulsion from the in-person conference with no tuition refunds issued.

TDA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the conference without warning or refund, in response to any incident or unacceptable behavior, and TDA reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meetings or conferences.
